SUMMARY:A KIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM Act CUT-OUT THEATRE
DESCRIPTION:A fun\, fast-paced\, family version of A Midsummer Night’s Dream\, it has all the comedy and confusion of the original play\, but is considerably shorter (at about 50 minutes)\, with more audience interaction\, songs\, water pistols and none of the boring speeches. \nHowever\, within the informal theatrical style\, occasional snippets of original text slip in\, to allow the audience to enjoy some authentic Shakespearean language. \nReview from a Canterbury audience member: \n“My daughter (the last girl to do a roly-poly) LOVED LOVED the performance this morning… she’s 4 and can’t stop talking about it and singing the song! Well done team” \nDoors open 9.50a.m. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nStandard\n\n\nPrice\n£8\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTicket type\nFamily\n\n\nPrice\n£20\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Buy tickets on TicketSource

Directed by Lara Ciulli\, with special thanks to Trygve Wakenshaw (Nautilus\, Kraken\, Squidboy). \nLast year’s work-in-progress Goodbye Uncle Fudgey won a Mervyn Stutter Spirit Of The Fringe Award at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe\, and was highly praised by audiences: \n“Absolutely fantastic. It achieves the very rare feat of being both hilarious and thought-provoking.” \n“This show captures the essence of the private education system and the toxic masculinity that results\, with hilarious and heartbreaking honesty” \n“There’s a fine line between pain and laughter.
