Best-selling novelist, Lisa Jewell, will be the headline author on Saturday October 18th at the Sandgate Literary Festival (previously known as The Little Literary Weekend).
The Festival will run from 16 – 19 October 2025. The Festival, now in its second year, is building on last year’s success by extending the number of talks and author events and including workshops for budding fiction and non-fiction writers. Organised by the Sandgate Society, talks and panels will take place in venues around the village of Sandgate, near Folkestone, and include appearances from Lisa Jewell, Sophie Haydock, Zoe Gilbert and Lucy Caldwell, as well as a murder mystery evening and a talk about social reformer, Elizabeth Fry. There is also a programme of children’s events which are free of charge to attend.
This year the Festival is supported by the Roger De Haan Charitable Trust.
